Couple of turbos from Finland

Hi there,

Heard about RTOC a couple of times in Finnish Renault boards, so now decided to join. Here in Finland it's currently -25C, so it's good time sit in front of PC with hot coffee and write to forums ;)

Bought a R11 Turbo ph2 in 2008, which is undergoing restoration.

Rear axle shot, lot of rust, but motor only 220tkm and relatively new gearbox, sound interior.

Currently this is a bare shell in the garden, and as I want to drive soon, I bought a shell without motor last summer:

It's originally a 1.1 TC, later converted to 1.4T, so I can do whatever I want with it without having to be afraid of ruining originality. Will be kind of race-replica.

Not a turbo, but needed a daily so bought a 11 TXE. Needed to take the christmas tree out on monday, so this is was up to the job:

Didn't see any area for these, but isn't this a Renault Turbo also? ;) This is my no2 car, Laguna 2.0T -03, it's the youngest one so it's for the SWMBO.

Now I have the motor of the first car done and inserted in the second, and I am now struggling to have it running. Hopefully will find some help here...

Thanks! Valkeakoski, which is near Tampere (~150km from Helsinki). If by any chance your friends are Renault-people, they are members of either CRdF or RTF?

Hmm, I once put a search in google for lowering 11, and I think it's your answer which always pops up, it was done by using megane ph1 dti lowering springs from PI or something like that if I remember correctly...
