been working on refurbishing some doorcards in order to get the process right and be able to offer refurbs as a service to forum members, some background in this thread http://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=25397

not done any rears yet but the fronts are £100 to do a pair if they are supplied with vinyl/cloth removed and in good condition, this includes flock color matched to the original renault cloth.
happy to have a go at a set of rears i would expect them to be about £50 for a pair if again supplied stripped and in good condition.
if repairs are needed they will be charged at £20 for a collapsed bolster/arm rest requiring a plate being bonded in and smaller cracks that can be laminated with several layers of glassfibre tissue to repair are £4 each

yep provided you have removed the vinyl/cloth from them and that they dont require any repair work, if you want them posted back within the uk cost would be about £15 or you are welcome to visit us to drop off and collect :)

thanks, yep they are a flock finish colour matched to my original cloth cards :)

not stripped any fabric ones but the vinyl ones take a fair while* to do so would add a good £50 to the price, to be honest its a job best done yourself if you are able to minimise the cost

(* fair while was about 3 hours on this set)

plastic campus ones will be a bit cheaper (about £80 for fronts) due to less preparation being required

What is the typical turn around time for a set of 4 with material removed prior to sending?
Is the durability expected to be good? I hate seeing material that has come away from the cards.
Can your repairs strengthen the tabs the speaker grills attach to?

hi there, turnaround is about a week to allow a good amount of time for the adhesive to fully cure.
the durability of flock is very good certainly as durable as a cloth or vinyl finish and more so from the point of adhesion to the surface as it wont seporate from the card like happens on the original cards.
i can repair most cracks or damage to the cards but with the tabs for the speakers you cant strengthen them due to them needing to be the thickness they are, extra layers would mean the grill wint fit, also the cost of replacing them completely with glassfibre tabs would be huge as they would literaly have to be crafted from nothing with several sessions of laminating and filing to get the correct shape and thickness, the only reason for renault fitting the speaker grills that way was cost as they dont need to be removable from the door card so i would suggest glueing them in place as the result will be exactly the same for a far lower cost

im putting the set pictured that i have done up for sale, its just the cards and NOT THE POCKETS OR SPEAKER GRILLS there is a tiny area of damage to the drivers card due to some parcelforce idiot knocking it off the racking it was on when they were carying out a boxed up dash.
damage is small and has been repaired but the resin has seeped through slightly on the join, luckily area is not realy noticable when fitted

may as well get them up for sale rather than have them sitting around
if you had yours done its going to cost you £100 for the service, plus 2 sets of carriage and the cost of the doorcards in the first place and any repair costs, then you have to strip them yourself.
this set is outright sale including carriage, best offer over £100 by tomorrow evening secures
