fete day for the 5's who's in

right me olde mukkas myself and all rtoc members have been invited to have our own sectioned off area on a pavilion for our renaults on a fete day, its on bank holiday monday the 4th of june 2012 which unfortunatly falls on the same weekend as national day in france i know some members are going to france but you may be back by the monday if you feel like bringing your car down to show it off for the day. It will be from 12.30pm-4.30pm but we will need to be there earlier to get ourselves set up, this would be a great way for all of us to show the rest of the world where all our money and time goes :D i was thinking of arranging some trophies to be given out on the day similar to last national day just to get more response let me know what you guys think. There is no cost involved as we have been invited to this day, for those that come to the surrey meet once a month will know the area and its 200 yards from our normal meeting place and for those that want to come but dont know where it is for now all i can say is its 2 minutes from junction 8 on the m25.

maybe when it finishes at 4.30pm if everyone wants to we could go back to the surrey meet social club and i will do a BBQ and we can all have a beer or soft drink as well, all friends and family are welcome its an open day to public with other events going on. please put your name down under mine if your able to come as i really need to know numbers. cheers all for reading this book :wasntme:

Ok chaps I'm hoping we can get alot more interest in this Event than at the mo I know it's still quite far away but it won't be long and it will be here so I need to get as many names as poss to let the organisers of the fete day know I am still more than happy to do a BBQ after back at the social club as long as you bring your own food and maybe we could add a bit of music if wanted I am in talks with mike phase 1 16v as we are trying to organise a magazine to come down and hopefully do some photos give out trophies for different awards and possibly do a magazine feature this is still to be confirmed so come on lads its another chance for all of us to meet and have another good day if you think you can possibly make it at the mo add your name

ok guys this event is now confirmed and will be on the same date the 4th of june 2012 it starts at 12pm but we all need to be on the site and lined up by 11am i will add the address at a later date. i would like to thank everyone who has put there names on the list this will be a great day for all of us but i would love to see more cars there i think mike phase 1 16v is trying to get 4 cars down to this so if there is anyone else who can come please stick your name down as it would be great if we can get to the magic 20 number on the list or more

right chaps this is the list so far and i want to try and make this event even better. The venue is now 100% confirmed and i have arranged for the social club to be open the whole day so when we get there from the fete we can get parked up have some drinks and a big BBQ also if anyone wants to stay at the social club for the whole day in the evening there will be a fireworks display starting at 10.30pm and possibly a disco/music outside as well so all in all im hoping this will be a great day and please all remember all friends and family are welcome so come on all you other peeps get your names down on the list i will make shaw its a great day

Bit of an update this evening I had to go and stand in front of 23 committee members who I don't know from Adam who organise the fete day in June and give them examples and numbers of how many cars I and they can expect on the day and they love the idea, we must be on the grounds and parked up no later than 11am and no car present must misuse the pavilion in anyway I.e dohnuts. This looks like it will be a great start for a whole day out with food and drinks after, so I am now going to move this thread to June and add the list so please peeps try and make an effort to make this event as I have pushed quite hard to get us on for the day please add your name or friends cars to the list
