Gearbox?

Is a gearbox with a plate on it reading m57-407e standard and of so were does the speed pick up plug as it seems there's nothing on it to plug it into

Guessing its for a gtt. Should be jb3, m57 is Volvo I think.
On jb3 it starts round by the starter. Could be a cable driven one tho.

so there would be no way to get my speedo working in my five

Maybe convert to Clio clocks. Does the box defo have a cable coming out of it? Think some Volvo ones were electronic pickup.

it dosnt have anything coming from it all ive got it the connecter from the five clocks just floating around in the bay

im sure when i removed the volvo gearbox from my donar 480 it had the same connector as the gt, it should be there somewhere mate, unless of course its not a volvo/gtt box?

If there is a pick up point look for a small hole just about the drivers side driveshaft, the hole will sit at an angle this is where you fit the speedo sensor.

If your box was electronic speedo to start with (trying to think if it is) then the gt sensor will work in there

both boxes normally come with both holes i think. Like the gt box has a bung in the other whole
