i have samco,few years old now and tbh i dont think this silicone hose game is all that,going to purchase full oe next time.

I agree, the end of the silicone hoses always go funny and jubliee clips seem to mess them up a bit, thats why I shot them on and am now doing everything with an fittings/braided hose

Another vote for oe Hutchinson hoses here :agree:

The problem I found with Silicones is that once they get the smallest of nicks in them, they fall to bits, and as mentioned above - Jubilee clips can split them easily. Oe ones have been proven to last over 100k miles, time and time again :cool:

No matey, i'm going to rebuild my white one to hopefully make it to national day. Sadly i dont have any standard hoses as yet.:cry:

This tread is interesting. I am considering the Matt black Samco hoses, trouble is they cost just shy of £1000.

Is it even possible to get a full new hose kit from Renault these days? If it is, I bet they would cost the earth!

Some hoses are still available Renault, but decent 2nd hand stuff from RTOC, Mike ph1, ebay etc will do perfectly.
