This year the french car show is at donington park,

I thought it maybe a good idea to get in early and potentially put on a club stand this year, every event ive been to at Donington has been great.

Be cool to see a few folks on track also, but im sure the track time runs out quite early on so probably worth getting tickets booked early.

Whos interested ? , i wonder if theres a close venue for camping.

Ive just paid for 2x tickets. There is already an RTOC STAND option, so just follow the below link, select rtoc stand from the list and pay for your tickets :)

There is an RTOC "stand" but the event never gets much support from the club members :( so don't expect much of a turnout.

I spoke in length with the owner and the creator. Fantastic couple. The car is a real work of art! The engine is awesome.

It was nice to put a few more names to faces. Weather made the day hard going. Saw a handful of R5 GT Turbos. Long drive home that M1 South is a nightmare.

Thanks to Tony (Fishead), Barbara and Sam (Sam OE) for helping me out. Nice to see San's 17K from new R5 GT Turbo. Got lots of interest.

Awesome day. I had good fun lashing a white focus rs on track, also a caged clio 16v with a supposidly ktec built throttle bodied lump "211bhp" lol. Had the boost turned down to 20psi compared to my normal 25, still seen 80+ on the speedo thru the craner curves :D

Donnington is an awesome track but the noise restrictions take the piss though. First two sessions i was fine, but on my third i got black flagged for 98.6db on driveby when the limit was 98, not as if i was massively over!?

I did bung some wire wool in the exhaust and pmt jubilee clipped some mesh over the tailpipe to pass the static test, 88db ;)

Only got a couple of pics as i couldnt really be arsed snapping all day, renault heritage brought ragnotti's grp a 11t rally car and the grp n gt turbo. Both looked awesome. They had an europa cup 21t and a laguna btcc car too.
