just a few things to note on this car for any potential buyer, most importantly the fuelling needs setting up as its running lean, boost turned down to bed the bottom end in as its only done about 500-700 miles since full rebuild, its a sapphire cossie 2wd fmic not an rs500 one.

that aside this is a really good car and wont need any big money spending on it at all as its all already been spent

You know you can't resist mate, see what it goes for and have alook.
Doing the carb wouldn't be too hard, sure there few bits could do under the bonnet also ;)

Yeah i see we can work a little magic to tidy up a few unwanted pipes wires etc mark. Also I know the carb won't be an issue to sort out. 4k is a little over budget though!

I was tempted for this car but the blatant lies about it running 'sweet as a nut' are putting me off....

i wouldnt say they are lies as such as the car did run lovely it just needed setting back up to run bigger boost.

I would go down and buy it but it's a long way for me to get there and then a serious problem arrises with fueling. Or anything else in that matter. I'm sure the old trust AFR gauge and some carb work would set it nicely. I'd have no option but to drive it back to Oldham! Which is 200 miles... :(

Basically the things that put me off are the fact that he obviously isn't 100% reliable r he would have put the fact it needs setting up in the add.

Like has been said in the picture of the sidey there is a cloud of blue smoke
Basically if he has ran a little too much boost all manner of things could wrong, and the only way to find out is to see for yourself or indeed drive for yourself so basically we didn't want to travel all that way just to "see"

Also the bumper strips have been painted as have the side skirt strips.

I don't doubt that it was a good car beforehand and the amount of bits under the bonnet makes it worth the price if it is as he says. Again another "if"

If you know what you’re looking at and can go and have a look and it is as it says and it's what you’re after then it's a good buy. Otherwise there are better ones around in my opinion

I think alot of people are interested in that motor. Could be a great punt. Or just completely turn out the way and be bad....

Blue smoke isn't good just 5k after a rebuild..
Could be a reciepe for disaster
