Just wondering if it's possible to fit 8x16 alloys to a GTT.

I imagine very carefull consideration would have to be given to the offset, also stretched rubber would probably help, issue being a scrap will soon result in a smashed arch.

What size were them borbets on jimmy b's car ?

not much of work, it is necessary to have the good offset, one should be ground can the rear arch body.;)

Is it me or should the underside of this car be smashed to pieces? Look at the size of the kerb behind:o:o

I run 7.5x16 arrows with a 195 40 16, im sure my rims are et30, im sure you would get those rims to fit, like said you would have to get offset bang on.

Mine are close to the arches on the rear and close to the inner wings on the front. I now have to run a 5 or 6mm spacer on the fronts to clear my calipers and still have a bit of arch clearance.

Maybe a different offset front to rear, a et35 rear and et25-30 front and they may just fit.

That's sounding more promising. They come In a few different offset the ones I first looked at are 35 :) I better get saving.

There are some Borbet 7.5 x 16 wheels that appear to fit straight on. How well will be affected by how low you go.

E30 BMW fitment, but will need centre bores opening up, and also chamfer on rear of wheel to clear rear calipers
