I would try it on the head with the metal :):):):)

I have had turbo off this way a few times before. cant remember which is best. I imagine it should work any way if you breaker bar tighten :crap::laugh:

metal side towards the head, fibre side towards the manifold - to take up any defects in the cast surface.......
