Is anybody running a reprofiled cam or fitted 1 ?? Any issues as I am thinking of getting 1 due to money ,285 I will be running

The only issues we had with the pink and yellow race cars when running re profiled cam, was running out of adjustment on the tappets, but longer pushrods sorted that.

you can always put the nut underneath instead which gives you a little bit more adjustment

True, but if you do this make sure the underside of the rocker is square, were the locknut contacts with it.

So if I buy a reprofiled cam from piper I will need also longer pushrods or is it a gamble ...? Thanks matt

You wont need longer pushrods...all the hot c1j cams make the nut go to the last couple of threads on the tappet. mine has been like this for years with no probs, if needs be put the nut underneath.

You mean the nut on the tappet ?
