Hello all i m running a gt28r turbo whit a piper 285 and have a 1.2 2nd jet and 0.9 ac jet whit a 3 bar fuel pump on 12 13 psi in in 4th gear at 4000 rpm the afr are getting lean what i do next whit carb to run more boost which jet should i change next

stick a 130 main in and 125 boost correction jet. in and see how it goes

Measure you fuel pressure to carb while on boost, at that boost level you shouldn't be going lean on that carb set up i suspect you got fuel pressure issue's

I would open the second stage up a bit more - to 1.3/1.35 then see what its doing. ;)

before i had the new pump and fit it the 9ac i had a bit of hesitating at 3rd gear at 4k and the afr goes full lean for a split sec and you can fell it to now is ok but like i said is leaning to 13 14 afr and im taking boost from the oe boost line if this help

check the fuel pressure to the carb. I had a similar issue and it turned out to be a faulty fuel pump.

do i need the get it before the fuel reg or after ?

Fit a gauge in the fuel pipe that goes from the regulator to the carb, could be a faulty fpr or pump..have you changed the fuel filter recently?? Any splits in the reference pipe that goes to the fpr from the carb top??

i fond a bit of fuel on the inlet and was coming from the triangle carb port where it gos to the carb elbow and to fpr but don t think it will be the problem
