Hi All,

I finally got to putting up photos on my website:

http://www.r5gordini.co.uk/members-cars/v/Members/Renault5GTTurbo/G216_PGT/Restored/

Hope you like!

And a question - would a club official be able to provide a valuation for insurance purposes?

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

That car looks very good, very good indeed, good to see its been restored.

The club dont do insurance valuations, we have been asked before but have had to turn them down, sorry about that.

Looks nice, but blue carpet, GTX seats and painter bump strips would be on my list of stuff to sort.

As for value they are rare but never sell for strong money as their use is very limited! Still i would love to own one, and it looks a very nice car. I'd offer you from 2k -3.5k for it depending on spec and viewing etc. But that is my opinion not the clubs. There have been loads advertised for silly money in Europe but they just don't sell well unless the price is right. For insurance purposes i would stick a couple of grand on top of that though because to replace it quickly you would have to pay over the odds or spend a lot on a repair job.

Ive not looked at the pics yet but i know of a clean one that sold for £6.5k a couple if years ago

I wouldnt let mine go for £3.5k and it hasnt been restored!
