206 gti caliper fit the GTT???

I know a few calipers from other cars are the same as the GTT and was wondering if the 206 gti rear calipers are the same??

Need a answer fairly quickly if anyone can help?

I'd say it was about an 80% chance it's the same.

Almost all small french hatchbacks of the 80's & 90's with disc rear brakes used those same rear calipers:

205 GTI
Citroen AX
Saxo VTS
So it's a good chance if they look the same then they will be the same.

I know they're still being used on Clio 172, 182's.

Thanks, Ive just had a look through and its lists the 205 gti as the same but dosnt mention the 206! I've bought the caliper now so will have a look when it turns up. :scared:

If this helps ..i baught clio 16v ones new(fronts) and it listed peugot and citroen so as said above ..at a guess they are same ....best bet would be to check ebay for their listings :D

Well the good news is the caliper turned up today and is the same as the GTT :agree:, bad news is the feking idiots advertised a n/s rear caliper as a o/s rear so I now have 2 n/s calipers and 0 o/s! :mad::cry::disagree:

Right Im on the look out again for another caliper for the o/s rear (drivers side right?) of my car as the one from the 206 gti turned out to be the wrong side as I said above.
So i look on ebay and find a saxo caliper advertised as drivers side rear but am I going mental or what, please will somebody look at this picture and tell me is this caliper o/s or n/s rear?

Thanks :agree:, thats what I thought! I have sent them a message as you like you say it might not be the one they are selling but not going to risk it as would be just my luck they have it wrong as well and I will end up having 3 calipers for the one side! :laugh:
