Hi, a bit of advice needed. I bought my 5GTT about a year ago drove it home seemed to be running ok apart being running rough on idle. I stripped the car to restore it, yesterday I decided to pull the sump and timing cover off to get them power coated. When draining the oil there was a mix of oil and water came out, so I thought right the head gasket gone so I pulled the head off, but the gasket seemed ok. My question is where do you think the water has come from. Any advice welcome. :(

try and pressure check the oil gallery in the head ...some seem to leak there!!

That would give oil in the water system, not water in the sump.
You have to think about areas where the water is at a higher pressure than the oil. Besides liner seals, the only other place is a crack at the top of the head, next to the pushrod holes, where water can weep out and drip into the sump.
