Very intermittent and sometimes with a tap of the clocks starts working again, wot Are the common things to check? Connection behined clocks maybe

check the connection in the engine bay. the connection join is clipped on next to the air box. give it a clean with scotch brite pad.
also take the clocks out and give all the contacts a clean with scotch brite pad. this fixed my speedo when it was on the blink.

Mine does the same mate and i think they were quite a common problem on the gt's, afaik its inside the clocks thats the problem as ive cleaned from the clock's to the sensor in the gearbox and it still does it, as adscan says give the connections on the rear of the clocks a good clean but i fear the problem lies with most within the clocks.
