Bit of a problem!!!

When my mates 5 has a quarter of a tank or less it pops and bangs and cuts out at 16psi of boost but when he turns it down to 10psi it's fine!!!!

I can't get my head round it lol. Any light bulbs goin off in any1's heads????? Regards Alex.

Poss the reserve tank pump not able to keep the main tank full. I had that problem on my old blue 5.

Perhaps the fuel filter on the sender is clogged up. It takes fuel from the side as well as the bottom so when the fuel level goes below the side filter the clogged part cant flow enough fuel to keep the engine happy at 16psi. Good idea to clean it anyway. You might thatthere is a small pilke of sand under the sender. It gets sucked onto the filter in use and then drops off when you stop.
