:agree:
I think Top Gear has run it's course now - It's getting worse and worse. I only watch it these days because I feel like I have to, for some reason :(
Agreed, I'd actually rather they reviewed cars!
it was pretty poor.
too many staged moments to get a laugh.
It's just an old tired format now. Trouble is it is a global cash cow for the Beeb so they continue to flog it.

well iv just watched it on i player and what a load of garbage tbh.
Three public school boys "having a laugh". What a bunch of Turkey chokers. It's abysmal television
.
I liked the tests of cars like the B7 RS4 when they race the clibers up the mountain etc.
Less and less actual reviews... but the specials never have reviews do they

Nah the specials are always bit slapstick and staged, that's wot i like about them tbh me and our lass had a right laugh watching it but that might have had summat to do with plenty of booze aswell lol

Yeah same me and the missis were cracking up, seen it all before granted... but its different to the norm.
I'm with V man here, 5 mins-irritation, 10 mins-boredom, 15 mins-making food and watching something else by 25.
Top Gear was amazing! Not. :disagree:
Have to agree this time round, the format is becoming tired to the point it needs changing now.
Things that should stay -
- Stig
- Power laps (nowhere else can you see direct comparisons of the worlds' exotica)
- Guest stars (and their laps)
- The odd challenge
- The news (and more of it)
Things that need to return or be incorporated -
- More genuine reviews with some stats
- More stuff on alternative fuels/new tech
- More on how to do motoring as cheap as poss while keeping it fun
Things that need to be cut out -
- Staged comedy
- Habitual challenges
- The cool wall (that's just padding)
- Similar things to the above
It was great while it lasted but cull the rubbish before it ruins the past as well as the present.

I enjoyed it
Amazing scenery, Hammond pulling the front off his mini, the mini on the hill climb and Jezza giving second place the loser sign. Almost dying pratting about with that banner on the train and when the train pulled away and it said eat english muff :wasntme:
The straight six cricket and driving on the Indian roads  the six silencers on the bonnet
On the other hand I was a tad dissapointed with his Xmas DVD this year had the 458 Italia and the MP4 12C and didnt race them in any shape or form. :disagree:
Amazing that the Skyline beats the MP4 to 30 feet a test of launch control systems
And MP4 12C THE WORST "name" ever given to any car let alone a super car.
lets start a new thread name the MP4 12C
