Browsing on gt turbo spares and saw this - my 5 didnt come with one and cant think iv seen anyone using one. Are the systems ok without them, or running without do we risk any damage?

I run one on a bms down pipe. Needs some work to fit but takes the weight of the exhaust off the manifold.

Both my renaults have the bracket on, I always fit one. Seen a down pipe move onto drive shaft in cv and chew a hole through exhaust.

I run one on mine, takes the strain off the downpipe and stops it from coming loose or hitting the driveshaft. For the sake of 5 bolts you might aswell fit it.
