Hi guys..... I need some overall advice please. Today i decided (actually started yesterday) to take my fuel tank off... as its been leaking from the bung or around it.. and have tried to fix it with the tank on... but no joy.

I have taken the exhuast off to make things a bit easier (but nothing seems to be easy on my car...) and have just taken the fuel tank off. While doing so, 2 bolts snapped... so the thead is still inside 2 of them. Also.. the pipes have come off from where all the copper pipes meet up and i think I wont remember what goes where... so does anyone have a picture??

oh.. and i will be using leakfix to seal the hole. :) anyone used this?

Any other advise would be much apreciated.

Thanks Slim.

Try and buy a campus tank and filler neck, i only paid about £40-50 for mine :) it will save a load of hassle.

Im missing 1 bolt on my tank.

If you get the other bolts out and drop the tank im sure you will be able to get the rest of the snapped bolts out, you can get in behind them im sure, drill or weld on a nut, im sure you will manage.
