headbolt torque

Going to fit the head onto my bottom end later.

Just a few questions, am i right in saying theres 5 washes , and these go under the headbolts (4 corners and 1 middle headbolt.. and also what torque settings do you use.

torgue settings are 60nm 44 lbf ft

I took my headbolts to 85nm's they were the 12.9 tensile ones, as far as I can remember there should be 6 washers (thick cast ones) and they go on every bolt apart from the ones holding the rocker shaft down.

Yes, only 6 have washers.

6 washers and 60nm is in the book but i went to 75nm. so anything you fancy after 60nm really :laugh:

i think someone said 90ish is the limit, i do them to 70-75nm ish
