I was watching an old Top Gear and they mentioned a web site that records the number of any particular model licensed or SORNed. www.howmanyleft.co.uk

well there are just 571 R5GT turbo licensed at the moment with 850ish SORNed. We are fast becoming rather exclusive :cool:

It was bound to happen unfortunately, you can still advertise parts for free but they have reorganised the site so much that i dont think anybody would bother looking for the 'parts' section of the classifieds anymore

These figures can't be correct, the list of customer in the UK I now have must mean there alot more but probably under going restoration work or stored away, I have several that have been off the road before sorn came into effect.

These figures can't be correct,

I've posted before on here what an MLR member found. That's that there's apparently only 12 Evo VI Tommi Mak's, which is absolute garbage - There's hundreds of them :laugh:

I'm sure I've read similar things about other cars, or maybe I was dreaming :scared:

But is it based on what the V5 form says with vehicle model and make rather than whats on the road. As some people on here say they have Raiders but on the log book it just says GT Turbo which might be the cause of a low number as well

All raiders have 5 raider on the log books if it hasnt then it's not a raider!

Dont believe that for a 2nd, the dvla havent got a fHcking ckue how many cars on the road or not, also when they changed the V5 to the newest version there were so many cock up, some raiders may have only been listed as GTT not raiders...

I also read somewhere on the old site that somebody had there white car classed as a raider even tho it had never been painted...

:agree: If your car has had a new logbook issued in its lifetime then you would probably expect to find mistakes or bits missing, but the first logbooks for all new Raiders did say Renault 5 Raider on them.

Well there's one more back on the road now, mines just passed the MOT after a minor 2 1/2 year rest in the garage!

Just needed a headlight adjusting, amazed. All I did was fire it up, ram on some fresh tyres and set off!
