Well picked her up today and gave her a quick wash, was a great drive home, she runs great:). Big thank you to James aka salty blade, such a nice guy to deal with and he's dun great work getting the 5 looking how she does, nice and oe, top man!:agree:

Yeah she's in pretty good shape, hardley any rust, just few dints to sort out, respray and decals down the side and she will be a little minter!:)

Shame someone has gone to the trouble of making that for it to not fit correctly :disagree: welds not the greatest looking things (been nice about it :cooter:) but if it was cheap cheap and still does the job with a little effort the world is all good again :cool:

Got it of eBay mate it's second hand was only on the guys car for a few 100 mile as his wife didn't like the sound lol. It's the real deal tho came in box with instructions and that, it's like new!

Yeah I've heard the old systems sound the dogs! Mate can't wait to get It on with downpipe and elbow. Yeah filter is a real bargain mate and really does sound ace! Lol not happy with its position tho so prob gona try and bring it closer to the wing if I can

I know mate it's only temp until I have more of a play about with some bits of pipe work I have, plus I still can't decide weather to get a front mount in which case it will be going where the old intercooler is. It was touching the intercooler how I had it before

Got this delivered today, won it for £22 plus postage which I think is a bargain! Should get it fitted at weekend when I get some new bolts. Bit more nice bling in the bay! Lol

99% sure its a GT Tuning strut brace. Note the 6 point fixing, Omp are only 4 and AFAIK only GT Tuning did a 6 point.

Did you gets big can of carb cleaner?? It's a must matey.. Just take your time take of one by one keep them in sequence clean and replace everything one at a time and you can go wrong.. What boost you running? Do you have an AFR kit fitted? If bigger boost you could alter your stages while your at it..

Yeah mate got a big can! Lol just running around 10 psi at the mo with no afr fitted at the mo but I do have a bigger downpipe with bung Welded in to go on, do future Plan is to up boost but not at the mo, was just gona try leave everything as it is for the time being

Rebuilt the carb last night and put it back on

Seems to idle fine and no more fuel leak, the diaphragm had a small hole in it. Gona take it for a spin later after some dinner see how it runs

Haha it took me nearly 4 hrs! Lol but she runs great, bin out in her this afty and god I've missed driving her, Pleanty of boosting going on today lol. Not sure if she's idleing a little lower than before tho, wot do they usually idle at? Can't remember

Mines about 950 bud just baubles nicely but the guys might tell you different.. Believe me matey after six months you will do everything with your eyes shut that's why I love them easy to work on.. Do you know how to adjust the revs? You really should buy an AFR gauge bud its the first and best mod!!

I know bud it's on the list next mod lol. Not sure how to adjust idle ?

To the left of the mixture screw you will see a flat head screw wind it in very slowly one way is up the revs and one way is down the revs.. Simples
