lost on points which i agree with, having the 2 points deducted cost khan the fight. Khan wasnt very gracious in defeat though lacks a bit of class in that department, id imagine there will defo be a re match

There's nothing quite like sticking a thread up telling anyone who didn't watch the fight live, what happened :cartman:
Just like Sukhi does with everything, on Facebook :cooter:
FFS, I'm downloading the torrent and I thought, "nobody would actually put the result in a RTOC thread title."
Incorrect. :disagree:

He meant on the way to the ring. He dropped them and someone had off with them. :innocent:

lol he will be back on itv then
now i dont know much about boxing, but how could he be the undisputed champion of his division when that columbian fella precott or whatever his name is knocked him out in the first round and khan never had a rematch with him?
i wasnt just about to watch it....:dearme:

Guys im really sorry for posting the result as a thread title it was bloody early doors i was a tad intoxicated in future if i ever post about a fight etc ill make sure ill post as eg "khan fight discussion result inside"
Totally outboxed and deserved to lose the titles, I also agree with the ref for deducting the points for pushing - he was warned several times. Looking forward to the re-match :agree:

rematch confirmed march 31st 2012
this rematch business is a right load of sh1t, what happens if he loses again? does he keep getting a rematch until he wins? he was moving up a weight last i heard. boxing really does suck atm
Boxing is absolutely fantastic at the mo! There's been some brilliant fights this year. I think the re-match will have been written into his original contract I suspect.

They didn't hang around with that did they!
Hi Blunty. No probs fella. Future thread title suggestion is - :agree:
Khan wasn't outboxed at any stage IMO. He did fight a poor fight in that he played into the hands of the home boxer however and he probably did deserve the deductions. Peterson deserves the win on account of those things. I think Khan is the better fighter fundamentally though.
There have been some awesome fights (Cleverly v Bellew) and some dreadful fights (Haye v Wlad) this year. If Froch can pull off a victory against Ward on Saturday then it's party time. I think he has a chance but in all honesty, I don't think he'll do it.
Boxing is the most corrupt, over-hyped, money-loving bull**** sport in the world (closely followed by football), but when they finally get it on, it can be the best thing ever (boxing, not football).
