aei unit!

Does the aei unit control the fuel when on/off boost?? or just the spark rate etc...??

It just controls the ignition map mate, not the fuel.. That's done by your carb

Yes if the vacum diaphram is split, worth trying another AEI to eliminate

put a foot pump on it and see if it holds if not the diaphram is split.
