On the 22nd & 23rd September 2012 the Festival Renault will take place at the Autodrome Montlhery just south of Paris.

The RTOC's second trip to the Motherland in 2012 is ON!!!

I've booked Millie & I to attend this (not told her yet though :scared:) and the details are below.

This time I'm not going to ask for a list of people who will be attending as we always get a great flush of interest early on & then people's arms get short when it comes time to handing over the €€! :wasntme:

At the time of writing this, there is only ONE room left, so those of you who are interested had better be quick!!!

If you miss out on this option, there is the Hotel B&B MONTLHERY (https://www.hotel-bb.com/reservation-hotel/booking#step2?hotelId=4171&arrival=21/09/12&nightsNumber=2) which is only €39 per night and includes breakfast which is pretty cool! :cool:

Once you book your hotel you will then need to book an exhibition place on the Renault Event webiste (http://events.utac.com/WD150AWP/WD150Awp.exe/CONNECT/Festival_RENAULT).

You need to book a participant registration and make sure you input the club code 9RAOCL on the booking page to ensure you'll get all of the relavent discounts etc?

I've just booked the Hard Standing option whatever that is :scratch: as the €25 for a bite to eat seems a bit €€€

Just had an email from Renault contact club saying that this has now been postponed until July next year.
Dear all,

Further to the talks held during our March 24th meeting and given the level of subscriptions reached at the end of April, Renault has decided to postpone the date of the 1st Renault Festival from the 21st and 22nd of September 2012 to the 20th and 21st of July 2013.

Postponing the Renault Festival will allow us to move away from a very intensive period in terms of classic events during the second half of 2012 and will give you more time to prepare this event for which your contribution is essential.

The discussions we’ve had so far and the encouraging level of subscriptions – though not in line with the objectives we had agreed to – show that Renault enthusiasts throughout Europe support the Renault Festival project and approve the choice of the Linas-Montlhéry Autodrome as the first venue.

This is why the Renault Festival will naturally take place at this same location on July 20th and July 21st 2013.

Organising the 1st Renault Festival in 2013 will also coincide with the 115th anniversary of the Renault Company and reinforce federative appeal of this event.

Subscriptions for the Renault Festival will be open from November 2012.

We will get back to you very soon to study different possibilities for your Clubs to actively contribute to the Renault Festival and celebrate the 115th anniversary of Renault.

I have no doubt that Renault can count on your renewed commitment and enthusiasm.
