What happens is when cold my car will boost 8psi and when warm only 4psi was running 19psi no problem. ive changed actuator for a -34 which is 14psi but the boost problem is the same. Any ideas thanks

it may LOOK ok, but how exactly did you check it for leaks.?

I need to pressure test it really. Might just buy a front mount as that was the plan to run more boost

Do you still have the standard anti perc recirc valve? this blew cold air in to the boost pipe via a little solenoid.

pressure test it Ron, Its dead simple... And I'm sure you'll have acess to a compressor or two!

You just need to block the inlet to the turbo, use and old boost hose and a can of paint or pop. then put the compressor pipe into one of the ports on the carb top and pressurise the whole boost system.

if your boost gauge doesn't read any pressure simply start removing boost hoses one at a time and block the end and see if you get pressure. Then just work back towards the turbo until you find the leak.

preasure testing an inter cooler is so easy .
get and old inner tube(un punctured) motor bike size is about the best. cut the inner tube so that it got two open ends and leaving the valve inplace. then put and seal the inner tube over both outlets of the inter cooler and pump up. if it goes down you got a leak also you can place the hole thing under water and find were the leak is comming from :coffee::coffee:

That is a beautifully simple test from the one and only.

Sir, I thank you :agree:
