New owner/member - 5 turbo cup... one of the orginals

First post!

Hi,

Just thought id introduce myself, originally owned a couple of 5's in the late 90's and always had a soft spot for them, was looking for a new racecar as my old one had got a bit tired and saw one of the original 5 cups (radbourne 003) and had to have it!

Have been rebuilding it over the last few months to race in Toyo Tires Saloons next year, the car won the 40th anniversary race in 2004 and fairly sure it took a couple of championships as well. Recently tested the car, and although it suffered a couple of minor(ish) setbacks it's looking like it should be really competitive next year.

I'm fairly sure that it will be the only 5 turbo competing in uk circuit racing next year, and if any tuners or companies would like to see some of their products tested or advertised at the sharp end (so to speak) id like to hear from you. The series will be supporting the britcar 24hrs at silverstone next year so some potential for some serious media exposure.

Trust me, a lot of people will be a little bit envious. That car (especially the colour) is liked by a fair few people on here, myself included :cool:
