View Full Version : Flywheels People??
Does anybody know if there is any difference in a 5 Turbo fly wheels against a standand campus 1000/1108/1392cc engines fly wheel apart from the crank pick up teeth??? Do the crank shaft holes line up?? Would a Turbo clutch fit on one??
Thinking about fitting a 5 speed box from a turbo into a campus. :sad2:
I assume you mean GT turbo and not 5 turbo, that would be very different!
the lesser n/a engines use a 180mm clutch, the cover mounting is different.
what do you think is different about the crank trigger teeth ? they're the same.
the crank bolt pattern on all C engines is the same.
the c1j 1397cc n/a might use a 200mm clutch the same as the GTT, I forget, but beware it might be 180mm the same as the 1108cc, 950cc, etc.

Cheers scoff.
yea i mean a gt turbo flywheel. i know the trigger teeth are the same, thats what i was trying to say very badly!!:) So what im asking is. will a gtt gearbox bolt onto any engine as listed above and work using a gt flywheel and clutch??

the non turbo's all have speedo cables, only the GTT is electric, so you wont have a speedo
yes, but otherwise it'll fit OK :) GTT box is actually longer than the JB4 and JB5 normally asp. boxes, but will still go in the bay.

Already one step ahead of you with that one!!:D
Ive got a flywheel sat around somewhere if it helps ya out.
