Yeah, I know quite a few recovery drivers as well with their own vehicles, im looking at renting out a vehicle so I dont have to pay for somebody elses time. That place I said was £95 plus diesel to hire out which would be a lot cheaper than getting somebody else to do the driving. But will give him a ring later and see if he knows anybody or a company like that :agree:

I don't do recovery anymore :(

Worldwide recovery services are the only place i know that would rent you a transporter, but they are probably too far from you (Hertford).

Another option is hire a van, then hire a trailer for the weekend? I was lucky my boss let us use his van so i hired a trailer for the day (£45) to pick up the Clio shell from Suffolk.

Didn't pass my test in time, so not legal to do that :( keep thinking I should get a trailer licence as will help me out loads.

They are quite high but considering I was 20 at the time with insurance it was quite good as most said I had to be 25 :(

Both companies I looked at where £95, deposit doesn't bother me really, but its the min hire days which is not good. But looking round, and got a couple of people who say they can possibly do it so just finding out times when they can get the vehicle back
