172 steering wheel

I have just about had enough of my 172 steering wheel falling apart and looking tatty has anyone used that flocking on a steering wheel? I am thinking of trying it,but unsure what its like.:confused:

rally design do a nice suede dished steering wheel for £49 its 3" dished and looks exactly the same (apart from centre badge and spoke colour) to the omp item that retails twice as much;)

flocking will cost around the same kind of money as a the rd item mentioned above , so really its down to choice, or have a search around the online:)

I can't remember who's car it was, a red Clio at Mark's ages ago had a flocked wheel. It felt horrible.
I'd stick with the suede too. Even have your wheel retrimmed with it?
