looking at buying a megane 225 lux

anything to look out for on these? the one ive seen is a 57 plate with 37,000 miles on it.
its for the wife, so will be a daily. dont worry, shes a driving instructor, so she wont be curbing it every two minutes or reversing into owt! (hopefully)

first and foremost check when the cam belt and water pump was done

eerrr 57 plate, and 4ish years old won't need the belt till next year on age (5 years) or 72k :scratch: shocking really

Its not a hard job, about a full day if you know what your doing and have all the tools

sure you don't want a nice 04 plate in inferno? frsh and 50k on the clock :ashamed:

i ended up buying it anyway! its got frsh, and its the lux, so full leather etc! very pleased, got it for £6995.:)

Check the steering. If its heavy or notchy could be the dreaded siezed hubs
