I have been thinking about ditching my momo arrow 16s for some 15s, I also have some gloss black track team dynamic pro race for the track, the car handles so much better on those rather than the arrows as they are quite heavy.
I fancy a nice alrounder 15" light but 80s or early 90s style.

What fits the bill?

I like rims like the turbines, Ronal turbos and p slots just not sure on their weights.

Any other suggestions

Proven in the Time Attack/Superlap arena.

Are the phase 1 clio 16v wheels heavy? If not I'd second the ronals or compermotives.

turbines are heavy, as are ronals and p slots!lol!

most of the flat front faced rims are heavy, as there is a lot of metal in them, thinner spoked rims are lighter such as oz superleggera etc, but they arent perhaps the style ur after

williams wheels are lighter, about 7kg a corner iirc compared to my 15" superlegs which are about 5kg per corner

:goodpost: thanks

I sold a set of whilly wheels to. Back to the drawing board, I guess the type of wheel I fancy is just not going to fit the bill by giving me an 80s look yet still nice and light for the track.

What is the weight of the Williams alloys?

as quoted mate, when i say they were about weights, i literally took a bare rim into work and weighed it on the calibrated scales there

Williams wheel, bare with just centre cap = 7.1Kg

OZ Superleggera bare with centre cap and spigot = 5.3Kg

Pro Race 1.2 bare with centre cap and spigot = 6.2Kg

they were all 15" 7J wheels

i havent weighed a turbine as yet but i believe they are around 10kg or so bare with metal centre cap

If you're gonna go retro, hard to find but i've seen a set or 2 on E Bay

If you want track and lightweight then IMO either Super Leggera or TD Pro Race 1.2
