Failed the MOT!

Evening chaps,

Took the 5 down for an MOT today and it failed on one thing, no rubber on the brake pedal. Tight or what?!!!!!:cry::cry::cry:

Its not been on there for years! I used to have an Elise 111s, now then come from the factory with an alloy brake pedal, no rubber. It was as slippy as a mother with wet feet but clearly legal! Seems like a daft rule to me.... All well.

Seeing as the rubber is long gone, reckon I can just use some anti-slip tape - like the stuff on ya skateboard? Either that, or I'll be chopping up some rubber mat and glueing it to the pedal! :(

Strange!! I'm sure the pedals in my Clio 172 are metal and have no rubbers

Grip tape... Should work.

Or you could just stick an add in the classifieds for an original one, am sure someone could do you it for a couple of quid delivered.

i use skate grip tape being a boarder an that,wet shoes an rubber
