Evening chaps,
Took the 5 down for an MOT today and it failed on one thing, no rubber on the brake pedal. Tight or what?!!!!!:cry::cry:
Its not been on there for years! I used to have an Elise 111s, now then come from the factory with an alloy brake pedal, no rubber. It was as slippy as a mother with wet feet but clearly legal! Seems like a daft rule to me.... All well.
Seeing as the rubber is long gone, reckon I can just use some anti-slip tape - like the stuff on ya skateboard? Either that, or I'll be chopping up some rubber mat and glueing it to the pedal! :(
