Wow, what a day.
First of all a massive thanks to everybody behind the scenes at RTOC for running this amazing competition. I didnt belive Lomo when i got the phone call, so i kept saying yeah yeah nice one mate whatever, i had to txt him a few time after we spoke just to make sure it was true, After it sunk in then i couldnt belive it. I had just won a near immaculate phase one renault five GT Turbo for one hundred pound. After aranging with Iain I collected straight away from his house and as i was sorting out the insurance details i was still i little doubtful that i had won so another little txt confimed that i had, Arivved at Iain's at about 7 we went through the details, Paper work things like that then i was away, The misses (andrea) wasnt too happy about things as we had a little baby 6 weeks ago, and this was our first night off she had everything planned for a romantic night in, instead she was treated to a bit of car talk and a nandos:) She came around though as soon as she saw the car and cant belive how clean it is. Anyway D55UVL is parked on the drive now, awaiting a nice drive out into wales, later on were going up to the horseshoe pass and the evo triangle to show off and get some proper photos. Theres a few little things not quite right with the car, the intention is to get them sorted over the winter ready to show over the summer.
I just watched the video on youtube and my heart was beating like crazy, i still thought i would'nt win it.
Tanks again to RTOC, Iain and mr blunt for pulling my ticket, i owe you a massive one, and finally dont hate me.

I miss it daily. Congrats mate. Makes me wish I never sold it, great car. Glad it went to a good home.
