what turbos will fit the 5

what other turbos bolt straight onto the 5 from other cars.

just want a cheap one but dont know what will fit.

I don't think any turbo from another car will bolt straight on to a 5, all will need some sort of alterartion or work to make them fit

im not after big boost or anything

iv got a t28 that i can use parts from just need th shaft and turbines but can use exhaust a comp housings from my turbo.

i dont think its that simple tho is it???

Unless you buy another T28 the same as you have now its not as simple as swapping bits from one turbo to another style as you won't know if wheels are machined to housings or if housings fit the core.

Best bet is to find complete turbo, if you after a standard one have a word with Mike at gtturbospares (phase 1 16v turbo), sure he's got few lying around

no it wont be that simple. just get a cheap std t2 from somone for £50.

I used a Nissan Silvia turbo on my 5.

I used the silvia core and exhaust housing with the 5 turbo other end, twisted it to the correct angle and had a custom oil feed made up

Works perfectly
