turbo rebuild kits

my turbos in need of a rebuild.now i think its a t28 but not 100%.

just wondering if the rebuild kits on ebay are any good and if its hard to do yourself.

saves me buying a new turbo...

never tried one but i personally wouldnt try it myself, turbo's need properly balancing when they have been built, as they spin at 130,000 rpm it only a little bit to throw it out of balance and then bearings wont last 2 minutes, or worse:cry:

Ive done a couple.
Its not hard to do, if you google it theres plenty of how to guides.
Just mark it all up so things go back in line and it will be as near to balanced as you will get it. Obviously its not as good as a shop doin it but as a stop gap its fine.
