hi all.

so ive done my clio gtt conversion now with a full engine rebuild (this was my first) and apart from a few issues its gone quete well.

so i may be able to get my hands on a rolling 5 shell.

now i want to do something pretty special! so the question is.. what engine?

first check the shell all over for rust as thats the biggest £££ issue.. Then i think you need to describe more about what you want from teh car?, all out drag slag?, track queen, road legal?. 1.8 20vt seem a sure fire big power route.

unless your a fabricator id avoid any rear engine or rwd projects.

If you are going to go RWD try using a gordini shell and study the turbo 2 to the enth degree!! at least further down the road you could buy the kit and make quite a believable replica of something you can't get for less than £15k these days :( :niceone:

engine in longways, propshaft in exhaust tunnel and rwd. mate did it on his vw derby using fireblade engine
