View Full Version : RMD Intercooler?
I have the intercooler (below) that came with the car when i bought it, does anyone know if this is junk (i.e cheaply 'made in china' ebay tat) or worth using? It looks fairly solid, but i'm curious.............. Thanks :)

Thanks :) what sort of boost pressure should this be capable of running before i'd need to look at a front mount option?

you should be able to run around 14psi with that. You may getaway with a standard carb on that boost but it would pay to have a fueling run on some rollers or get your self a wideband afr gauge to be sure of the fueling.:)
Cheers Adam, it'll have to go eventually then if i want the kind of power i experienced sat in yours the other week :D I'm surprised though because my standard strapped ic took 1bar without issues. :(

That will take loads of boost pressure but what I think what Adam means is that it will cool well enough for 14pair after thy you're prob better off with a front mount.

I had a pace standard capacity ic and that cooled fine at 18pair saying that.
