Side indicators required?

Ive noticed almost al the UK 5's have side indicators (just in front of the doors)
Are thet required for MOT or something?

Depends on your MOT tester really, as the OE front GTT ones slightly wrap around the sides you could get away with it but it does depend on MOT tester. Yes a UK car needs side repeaters

My red car failed for no side repeaters... Cars after 86 need side indicators...

My car past after... But still has no side indicators ;) also orange indicators are better on the front than clear as the show the.light better :)

also cars after 1980 need a rear fog lamp/ fog guard.............. but no car in the uk needs a reverse light to pass an Mot..............and a minimum of one central rear view mirror and one off side mirror................................:)
