Anybody come across this problem?
I have changed the fuel sender and the fuel pump and it is still clogging up the fuel filter. There doest appear to be anything in the fuel tank.

My guess is water

Do you use aditives?

Last option: Empty your tank completely and refill with some fresh juice.

How long, between ultrasonics clean, does it take to build up enough to clog the filter?

That level of contamination was after a month including 1 sprint event. Water? I could believe that water may be in the tank.

Draining the tanks is a good idea and I will DW the pit crew.

Are the spk plugs glazed in anything? Are the particles in the fuel filter hard... like silicon, or something like that...... is weird.
If it is water, is it not collecting in the base of the float chamber too?

Spark plugs are just dirty black and need cleaning every so often ie before events. The float chamber is fine and the filter in the top of the carb is fine. When I changed the sender there wasnt anything apparent in the palstic shroud that surrounds the sender in the tank.

It seems to be a fine powder like a metal oxide as it settles out in the ultrasonic cleaner.

I presume that the tank isnt metal.

Pit crew advised waiting until after my last weekend before taking the fuel tanks apart just in case of problems.
