One headlight brighter than other

When I have just my sidelights on the drivers side is dimmer than nearside. Does this sound like a dodgy earth?

Dodgy earth of bad connection on the bulb, had that recently on the extra van and ended up being the plug on the bulb.

Okay..changed the plug and still the same. Where is the earth fir the sidelights?

The earths are just below the headlight but towards front of car so prob easier to get to if you took headlight out
