Got an oil filter from Euro car parts, gave them my reg and a seperate part num came up from the campus but it didn't look right. The filter is a Bosch one it is black longer and thinner than the Renault ones. The main thing is I can't see a 1way valve like the proper ones and wondering if this will cause probs:scratch:

Euro car parts is the only thing near me really. I think mike has sorted me a filter now, will this filter be ok for a few hundred miles until I change the oil if the pressure is ok?

Euro are good usually, but the filter they list for the 5 isnt ideal, its too big and makes changing awkward, renaults the best place for the filter.

Yeah gtt filter is a lot smaller than the bulky Volvo one, but still up to the job. All sorted now took the Bosch one off and fitted a genuine Renault one.:D
