how dry is the r5 market!!!

Recently ive been looking around for r5's and im amazed at just how dry it is..

It appears generally the only ones under 2k have bodykits, anything without is demanding big cash..

Even 5 campus's are far and few..

I found one the other day on autotrader, £450 in pinky red .. thought that was steep, phoned the guy to possibly barter.. it had already sold within 4 hours!

theres a fair few campus`s around here most driven by grannys. 1 had theres up for sale and wanted £850 :eek: had 1 owner from new fsh etc

Sold my ph1 shell pretty quickly, brought a bargin red one, smoothed but oe otherwise... Except for 16v conversion.... Mot failure, got it for a cheap price, abit of work & passed its mot.

If you ask around, put a wanted advert u will get offer a car within budget..

Yeh with pistonheads not being free no more dont expect to see many cheaper cars on there...

But look out for ebay adds for a wheels nut... but a phone number for info on the car...

I think the only way forward in relation to solid shells is campus I'm afraid, I mean you could buy a campus and buy a kit and put some f7 type engine in cheaper than some rusty old gtt
