View Full Version : Doors, Pins and hex's
I was looking for a definative answer to a question, as i've trawled the boards and just managed to confuse myself even more (easily done) about whether I can, or more the bodyshop can, use a door with a pin style hinge that i have supplied them, on my car that currently has a 'hex' bolt type.
If it can be done, what do i need to supply the bodyshop with to covert it? (if anything)
Thanks:)

You will need to buy a new hinge kit!

Ah ok cool, where would i buy such a kit, part number by any chance? ;)
Same as me,mine was torx type shell and i fitted pin type doors, i ditched both and fitted a 6mm bolt with nylocks and used the torx top hats as well, therefore they should wear out before the shell and doors.
Look at my thread :)
