Not sure how you stand with no MOT and No Tax normally they have to have MOT and Tax, I spoke with DVLA the other day with ref to my plates as my gtt has private plates also and is about to be scrapped aswell they said as long as I have tax and even if old MOT expired now to send them the last one. You need to complete the V317. They told me to keep the car taxed which on mine expires end Oct 2011. I am going to transfer the plates to my land rover if the plates do not sell by mid Oct.

They are normally ok as long as the car that is receiving the plate has mot and tax ;)

It's a good plate. There is always a way! Take it to one eyed Willy at Bishop Auckland?

Suspect it will be harder to put it on retention than to put it onto another taxed and ticketed car.
