OOOkay!

well straight to the point, i had 5 old turbos sitting on the shelf in the garage, all in need of a rebuild.

now ive managed to remove all parts including housings from 4 units but with 1 snapped bolt in the exhaust housing:rolleyes: i assume ill have to drill this out:crap:

i have one unit left to strip, the issue is the turbine housing bolts, 2 have come undone but the other 2 do not want to move. ive tried but ive ended up rounding the bolt heads:crap:.
how exactly can i get these bolts out.? also the bolts were soaked in plus gas for days before i tried.
i wonder how turbo companies strip units?
the must be a hack to stripping units? as these turbine side bolts have been a nightmare on all of the units:brickwall:

not sure in particuler on turbos but the following methods have worked for me in the past.

Welding spanners/sockets to them, hammer and chisel.

Do you have enough room to get an extractor socket on?
