anyone got rear seats fitted and a cage in place? Im not talking about a silly show cage but a full cage. Is it possible without cutting the seats? If poss whats it like sitting in the rear space wise?

Gary in my last Tungy 5 before the one I crashed I had a full safety devices cage in place with rear diagonal and I was still able to fit the rear seats in place :agree: obviously they are not useable but the seats fit

Not the best pic but you can see the cage and just about see the rear seats and seat belts

My Phat 5 had full Safety Devices cage with removable diagonal fitted with all standard seats and if diagonal was removed made the rear perfectly useable.

yer i got safety devices and yes *as above* rear seats can be kept but tbh with there regards to being used then no really, with the diagonal in place,it makes a difference well in mine anyway with vibration,i found with rear seats an no diagonal it made a bit of noise so binned the rears.

Cheers for the info guys. I have allways wanted a cage but now want the rear Seats as well, think il look for a cage with a removable diagional and see how that goes. Did any of the safety gevices come with a removable diagional?

Do they make small clamps (like scaffolding clamps) so I could cut off a diagonal and clamp it back on when on track.

No cuting to dash required at all, the only part I had to modify was the top light console you either remove it or cut it in 1/2 so you still have the light and switch as the top bar won't fit with it complete
