I know there has been abit of discussion about this bit of kit in the past, but i'm considering this as an option over a big intercooler.

Now that these are a few years old, has anyone any advise on how they perform, what improvements are needed if any, worth the money?.

I notice that the CC is pressure tested up to 30 psi. Has anyone gone beyond this with success?

If the majority consider these to be dog shi t, then has anyone got any other recommendations apart from PWR?

Matt

My advise is RADTECH 10times better if your going down this route ;) me and a couple of m8's have been down this route and had issues so imo get a front mount! but if your heading dwn this route and quite passionate about it then Radtech CC is ftw! :agree: (better made)

Just cut the front end off and stick an RS500 cooler in there.

Had both Pace (high boost BBT) and PWR coolers .... they both got dusty lol
Depends what you’re doing with your car (i.e. strip or track) Intercooler are just as heavy cc’s though get rid of heat/energy quicker. If your changing the water/ice every 9s run (we’ll be optimistic) cc’s it is :)

me an Scott j used to run both the high boost pace and the radtech ones and also we heatwrapped the CC this made quite a bit of difference...they do work but if ya like fewer probs and just want clean and effective way of helping the turbo then FMIC is def the way forward.

Matt, it's a well known fact (or maybe not so well know, it would appear :D) that Pace intercoolers & CC's are cr8p. Period.

D'you not remember the intercooler test I carried out several years back?
