as per title really!:)

im after a slimline fan, to go on b18ft conversion with a new ally rad,

but noticed theres a real big difference with prices from £25 ebay jobs to £120 for spal jobs:eek:

anyone any experiance with these? are the ebay fans up to job, and are the spal ones worth the extra cash, or are you just paying for a name:confused:

oh, and what size are the 5 fans! not near mine to measure it!

Spal, Spal, Spal. Look at the flow rates and you'll see why.

tried standard fan on mine, it does fit too but bottom rad hose is really close to fan and i have oil cooler hoses running close to it, so thought i better not risk it and get a slimline fan with a decent gaurd!

plus the fact any manky fan looks sh*te on my shiney new rad!

I have 2 spal, there spot on for me, they have to pull through the rad and intercooler and have no trouble.

a radtec intercooler fills the standard rad space and a rectangle rad with the twin fans sits behind.. very tight.. this isn't it but you get the idea.. http://radtec.co.uk/products/305/205-Radiator-short-version.htm
