MMM, thats really interesting as I used to collect vintage Tamiya's and had a brand new Renault 5 Turbo.

There are no details on the Tamiya Club Website on this, but when it is realeased I could probably source this at a better price if anyone is going to buy one.

You can already see what Chassis this will use though "M05RA".

I'll look forward to getting one of these :)

This was the same chassis as the Renault 5 Turbo. I made this video quite a few years ago now.

A few bits to finish up like stickers and trimming the bits poking out the top.
it pays to bookmark cool stuff. Complete surprise on Christmas Day :)

:agree: It's good fun putting it all together.

You get some pretty savage tuck on the rear. I robbed some rear arms and stuff from an old car to get it sitting and handling better.

Na, it's something that's interested me but I've never looked into it. I wouldn't have the skill anyway :ashamed:

I just had the other tamiya cars from buying one cheap off a mate and swapping some mk1 Astra Recaros for one years ago :laugh:

I had one too but the mechanical speed controller stuck on and burned out :(

I then upgraded to a Kyosho Laser ZXR! Awesome! I even sand cast some front wishbones in aluminium for a school project as I was always snapping the plastic ones!!

Those were the days, it wasn't how much boost you were running it was how many turns & winds your motor had! :cool:

robbo glenn hi5 used to race 1/5th think he was british champ with trucks for 3 seasons :agree: he raced off road too

I've got a great Marauder in the garage with loads of spares, haven't used it in years!
